About The Adventure
Standing proudly at an altitude of approximately 4,472 ft, Purandar Fort is one of the grandest and most strategically important hill forts in Maharashtra. Located near Saswad in Pune district, this mighty fort guarded the southeastern approaches to Pune and served as one of the strongest military bastions of Swarajya. Purandar is the birthplace of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and the site of the historic Treaty of Purandar (1665) between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Mirza Raja Jai Singh. Purandar echoes Maratha courage, sacrifice, and the immortal bravery of Veer Murarbaji.

- 09:30 AM: Get ready & moving towards Purandar fort.
- 11:00 AM: Reached the top of Purandar fort.
- 11:00 AM - 02:00 PM: Exploring and study session from historian Onkar Oak sir.
- 02:30 PM: Reached the Base village.
- 03:00 PM: Have lunch.
